Angela is a freelance writer, editor, and journalist. She has an MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco, with a focus on nonfiction, and a BA (Journalism and Women's Studies) from Mills College. She has written for numerous newspapers, magazines, newsletters, and websites, and worked as an editor, reporter, technical writer, paralegal, sales manager, and a fundraiser for nonprofit organizations, among other jobs. She is a columnist for Inside Publications, as well as a regular contributor, and a semifinalist in Missouri Review’s 24th annual Jeffrey E. Smith Editors’ Prize. Angela lives in Northern California with her husband and their slightly overweight cat.
